BREAKFAST WITH AN ARTIST
From June through October, the Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport, hosts Breakfast with an Artist on Sunday mornings. Each Sunday, an artist will be on hand from 9 AM until noon to discuss his/her work.

June 3 – July 14 River Tree Center for the Arts: Encaustic Exhibit, New England Wax juried exhibit; Sean Hill, juror. Opening reception, juror’s talk and encaustic workshop.
June 4 – 8 Arts in the Inns: Painters William B. Hoyt and Sally Caldwell Fisher, and sculptor Lyman Whitaker visiting as artists in residence from Maine Art Gallery and The Gallery on Chase Hill.

June 28 – 29 Home & Away Gallery: OtterBear Studio (Nakwesee and Augustus) exhibit and sale; Kwakiutl storytelling and reception on Saturday.
July 5 – 31 The Gallery on Chase Hill: William B. Hoyt, a one-man show; reception on opening night.
July 19 Home & Away Gallery: Penobscot (Maine) artist and educator Barry Dana demonstrates and discusses Penobscot culture; sale and exhibit of original artwork.
August 2 – 3 Home & Away Gallery: Molly Murphy, Lakota artist and bead worker; lecture, exhibit and sale.
August 2 – 28 The Gallery on Chase Hill:

To the Beach, a show of paintings and sculpture; opening reception.

August 16 – 17 Home & Away Gallery: Inuit Reunion – artists Palaya Qiatsuq and Alec Lawson Tuckatuck reunite to demonstrate stone carving and exhibit their sculptures; opening reception.
August 24 Nonantum Resort: Celebrate art, music and French cuisine at A Garden Party with the Artist, 1:30 to 4:30 PM. All proceeds to the Hospice of Southern Maine.
August 30 – 29 The Gallery on Chase Hill: Critters Revisited, a show of paintings and sculpture with opening reception.
September 3 – October 6 River Tree Center for the Arts: TWINE Tapestry Weavers of New England; opening reception, workshop.
